#BBMA 2012: Resumen de la gala y lista de ganadores de los Billboard Music Awards 2012

Anoche tuvo lugar la entrega de premios Billboard Music Awards 2012 en en el MGM Grand Arena en Las Vegas . Estos galardones regresaron con éxito el pasado año tras haber estado cancelados durante 5 ediciones.

Este año partía como favorita la británica Adele con 18 nominaciones, y LMFAO con 17, y como era de esperar Adele ha sido la gran triunfadora de la noche (pese a no presentarse) con un total de 12 premios. Por su parte LMFAO logró hacerse con 6 galardones, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga y Coldplay con cuatro, y Jason Aldean y Casting Crowns con otros dos cada uno.

La ceremonia fue presentada por los actores de la serie Modern Family Ty Burrell y Julie Bowen. Entre las actuaciones pudimos disfrutar de Nelly Furtado estrenando su single ‘Big Hoops’ en directo, Katy Perry con el nuevo single de la reediciĂłn de ‘Teenage Dream’ titulado ‘Wide Awake’, Linkin Park, Carry Underwood o Chris Brown entre otros. Los momentos más emotivos de la ceremonia se vivieron con el homenaje a Stevie Wonder y a la fallecida Whitney Houston, presentado por Whoopi Goldberg.

La cantante Natasha Bedingfield interpretĂł ‘Last Dance’ en memoria de Donna Summer, fallecida esta semana. Y en homenaje a Adam Yauch de los Beastie Boys, CeeLo Green y Goodie Mob interpretaron ‘Fight for Your Right’ junto a su sencillo ‘Fight to Win’.
