Se entregan los Billboard Awards 2011

Anoche tuvo lugar en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas, los Billboard Awards, en el mismo lugar donde se estuvieron celebrando desde 1997 a 2006.

Aunque Rihanna partía como favorita de la ceremonia con 18 nominaciones, finalmente los grandes vencedores de la noche fueron Justin Bieber y Eminem con seis galardones cada uno.

La gala arrancó con la actuación más esperada de la noche el dueto de Rihanna y Britney Spears, ambas artistas interpretaron el éxito ‘S&M’ haciendo a todo el público ponerse en pie.

Las demás actuaciones no podían ser menos. Algunos de los artistas que amenizaron la noche fueron Ke$ha, Taio Cruz, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj junto a Britney Spears de nuevo, Back Eyed Peas y Lady Antebellum, entre otros.

Destacaron Cee Lo Green que sorprendió a los presentes a bordo de su piano volador, la impecable actuación de Lady Antebellum con su Just A Kiss o Ke$ha con sus unicornios rojos bailando.

Aunque si por algo se recordará esta edición de los Billboard Awards, es sin duda, por el gran homenaje que recibió Beyoncé al ser galardonada como artista del milenio, (entre otros la mismísima Michelle Obama apareció en el video-homenaje). Además su actuación interpretando el tema ‘Run The World (Girls)’, se convirtió sin ninguna duda en la mejor de toda la ceremonia. Una coreogafía coordinada con efectos visuales, un directo arrollador, y un gran final acompañada de decenas de bailarinas: Una actuación espectacular.
